Thanks to everyone who took our 2022 OI Masters of Email Marketing Metrics Quiz! (If you missed it, you can still test your email metrics expertise here, although you are no longer eligible to be a 2022 OI Master of Email Marketing Metrics — but it’s good practice for next year!)
Of the 79 people who accepted the challenge, only 8% answered all 10 questions correctly.
These 6 people have earned the right to call themselves ‘2022 OI Masters of Email Marketing Metrics.’
Without further ado, they are (drum roll please)…
Two of our 2022 Masters answered all the questions correctly, then neglected to provide their name and email address. We’ve recognized them here with aliases of our own creation; we’re a little concerned that there will be multiple “Private Pandas’ and ‘Sly Sloths’ at the 2022 Email Innovations Summit trying to take credit, but we’ll cross that bridge in Las Vegas.
I also wanted to recognize the Only Influencers Email Metrics Project Committee, who volunteered their time and talent with me to create the quiz, develop and present the webinar, and launch this website. Thanks all — it’s a pleasure volunteering with you! And I hope that had we been eligible to take the quiz, we also would have answered all the questions correctly!
The video of the webinar with the answers to the quiz questions will be available on-demand shortly… in the meantime, here are some other quick facts about the quiz.
The average participant score was 68% — which is getting a smidge less than answering 7 of the 10 questions correctly. Not to alarm anyone, that in traditional grading systems, that would earn a D!
There was one question that everyone was answering correctly — right up until the last day, when someone answered it incorrectly! See the webinar to find out which question it was.
As you can see to the left, questions 2 and 3 got the most correct answers. Question 10 got the least. In fact, the majority of people had an incorrect answer for question 10.
See the webinar to find out what the question was — along with a detailed explanation about the correct answer.
As you can see to the right, the largest group of participants answered 7 of the 10 questions correctly. No one got fewer than 2 of the questions right.
We were surprised by the results, especially since each question had a ‘hint’ — a link to content on oimetrics.com that included the correct answer.
The on-demand recording of the webinar will be available soon! In the meantime, if you haven’t taken the quiz, now’s your chance! Good luck!
